Introduction to Biodynamic Viticulture 2022 (Online Course)

175.00£Introduction to Biodynamic Viticulture is for anyone with a basic knowledge of viticulture who would like to learn more about it from the perspective of biodynamics.
The course is online and includes a series of video seminars, a resource library for additional personal study, and interviews with experts in the world of biodynamic winegrowing from around the globe. The course is facilitated by the UK Biodynamic Agriculture College, and written & delivered by Robin Snowdon of Limeburn Hill Vineyard.
It consists of 5 sessions, with one every 2 weeks, and runs on Tuesday evenings from 7-9pm on the following dates:
- Tuesday March 1st 2022
- Tuesday 15th March 2022
- Tuesday 29th March 2022
- Tuesday 12th April 2022
- Tuesday 26th April 2022
The course is based on the following five themes:
- The global & cultural context of Biodynamic Viticulture (with an introduction by Monty Waldin)
- Motivations and inspiration for biodynamic winegrowers
- Theories and Principles of Biodynamic Viticulture
- Methods and Techniques used in Biodynamic Viticulture
- Demeter and the Global Certification Standards
